Validation and test of a task

By testing task you will check if:

• Recurring Task plugin has enough access right to create issues
• Default values are properly configured and are set correctly in newly created issue (after test)

You can test/validate recurring task. Simply:

Step 1

1. Enter values for:
   1. Task schedule information section
   2. Issue default values section

2. Click Save button

   Tip
   Default field values for an Issue section is rendered according to actual "Create Issue" configuration in JIRA. Field shown in ths section may be different according to your JIRA configuration (the same fields when clicking Create Issue in JIRA)

   Warning
   Scroll down (use right scroll bar) to view and set all fields related to the issue type

1. Go to plugin configuration
2. Click Add button in the right top corner of te window.
3. Select Project and Issue Type
4. Click Next

...

1. Run Now link button in selected task row
2. Pop-up dialog will show status of the execution
3. If task has been successfully created you can click on newly created issue link to check issue field values
