Add recurring task

You can add recurring in three different places:

  • User Profile
  • Project
  • Addons settings

Task List

Step 1

  1. Go to plugin configuration , "profile/My Recurring Tasks" or "Project/Recurring Tasks"
  2. Click Add button in the right top corner of te window.
  3. Select Project and Issue Type
  4. Click Next

Step 2

  1. Enter values for:
    1. Task schedule information section
    2. Issue default values section
  2. Click Save button

    Tip

    Default field values for an Issue section is rendered according to actual "Create Issue" configuration in JIRA. Field shown in ths section may be different according to your JIRA configuration (the same fields when clicking Create Issue in JIRA)


    Warning

    Scroll down (use right scroll bar) to view and set all fields related to the issue type

Edit recurring task

Tip

In order edit task you must be:

  • an task owner or project administrator or administrator
  • have "Create Issue" permission for the project specified in the issue


You can edit recurring task. Simply:

  1. Go to plugin configuration
  2. Click Edit for selected task
  3. Change task values for scheduler and issue default field values
  4. Click Save button to save changes

Delete recurring task

You can delete selected recurring task. Simply:

  1. Go to plugin configuration
  2. Click Delete link button in selected task row
  3. Popup window will apear
  4. Click Delete button to confirm delete operation.

    Warning

    After delete you cannot undo deleted task
