Currently, the app supports Global issue create dialog in company-managed and team-managed:

  • Jira Software projects

  • Jira Work Management projects

Other project types, like Jira Product Discovery, Jira Service Management (see https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/FRGE-774), won’t work with the app at the moment.

The Global issue create dialog can be opened from many places in Jira. The app currently supports the following entry points:

  • the global Create button in the top Navigation bar

  • the c keyboard shortcut

  • the issue view Add a child issue and Create subtask buttons. To make it work Jira must open the Create dialog e.g. make the Summary and at least one other field mandatory for the issue type.

The app does not support the Backlog view at the moment, because Jira API does not allow it.
