Issue Templates Picker

 

The application allows to select and insert field templates to the standard Jira ‘Create issue’ dialog.

You can define templates per project and link them to the selected issue type.

Quick setup by example

  1. Go to the project → Project settings → Apps → Issue Templates Picker

  2. Create the new template by clicking “Add Template” button in “Templates” tab.
    Use “Add field” button to add another issue field to the template.

  3. Select “Issue Types” tab and link the new template to selected issue type.

  4. Toggle the “Default template” checkbox if you want the template to be applied by default for this issue type.

     

  5. Repeat the procedure to add more templates.

  6. Click “Create” button in the top Jira menu to open ‘Create issue’ dialog.
    Select necessary template from Templates ➤ field.
    Enjoy your configured template.
