Jira administrators and project admins can export recurring tasks to JSON file.

 

This JSON file can be later used to import the tasks to the same or other Jira instance.

Administrator can select which tasks to import:

 

If you plan to import tasks to other Jira instance, you need to check that input JSON file contains actual:

  • project and issue type identifiers

  • custom field identifiers

  • Jira board id in “Sprint” custom field if used
