Default Values for 'Create Issue' screen - Issue Templates in Jira Cloud

The application allows to create default values for ‘Create issue’ screen for the following fields:

  • Description

  • Summary

  • Assignee

  • Priority

  • Labels

  • Reporter

  • Paragraph - multi-line text custom fields

  • short text custom fields

  • Number custom fields

Quick setup by example

  1. Go to Apps → Manage your apps → Default Values for ‘Create Issue’ screen → Field Configurations

2. Create new field configuration by clicking “Add field configuration” and add your defaults

3. Configure in which projects the new config will be used by clicking “Assign Project & Issue Type”

 

 

4. Enjoy your configured defaults
