Limitations

Currently, the app supports Global issue create dialog in company-managed and team-managed:

• Jira Software projects

• Jira Work Management projects

Other project types, like Jira Product Discovery, Jira Service Management (see https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/FRGE-774), won’t work with the app at the moment.

The Global issue create dialog can be opened from many places in Jira. The app currently supports the following entry points:

• the global Create button in the top Navigation bar

• the c keyboard shortcut

• the issue view Add a child issue and Create subtask buttons. See How to apply a template to child work item or subtask

Users must have the “Create issues” permission in order to load default values.
